Day 96 & 97- Salta

We only went through the top corner of Argentina, but we still got a flavour of it. The flavour is beef. Steaks bigger than your hand for £2.
We drove for hours through this sort of scenery

Away from the city the scenery is spectacular, but Salta was like any big city.

Everything is even cheaper than Chile.

I quite like the chap in the Adidas T shirt wondering what this pillock is doing...

Argentina is politically unstable so we weren't surprised to find a military uprising* in the city centre. Of course I took the opportunity to get invoved and complete another of my tasks.

*Our spanish isn't perfect yet, so it was only later we discovered it was teachers marching for extra pay...

In the evening we ended up in a nightclub. The DJ pretended he hadn't heard of Chesney Hawkes and threatened to call the bouncers if I didn't stop asking...

Day 98 - Humahuaca

A pleasant little town in the mountains at 3200m. Not the ideal place to play football for the first time in 8 years. We lost 6-0.

As a professional goalhanger, I had a couple of shots on goal, but the closest hit the corner flag...

The other team cheated by knowing how to plaay football and using talent...
