Save it and then open it. It should make Google Earth wake up and put an entry in your "Temporary places" in the 'places' panel on the left.
- When you double click an item it flys there.
- When you tick the box it shows the GPS trace (red line) of where we wandered.
To make mountains and cities look better, have "3D buildings" and "terrain" selected
