It was an epic match that will be talked about for years on Sky Sports News. Having come back from the death to beat the Vandals for the first time ever last time they met, Vandals came looking for revenge with a very strong squad. In front of a huge home crowd Casualties pulled out every molecule of talent in a battle which went to the very end.

The first set was taken easily by Vandals as Casualties were still hungover from the night before. Vandals are always good at finding the spaces and with cloudy brains, Casualties were no match for their cunning.

Team:
Belinda, Jess, Neil, Steve, Mick, Gudrun, Chas, Sam

Peter Andre turned up and inspired the Casualties

The second set saw Jess substituted on to turn the tide in Casualties favour. (Yes, we couldn't believe it either!) They took the 2nd and 3rd sets with relative ease. Neil took the 'hit of the match' award for a peach of a hit that nearly burst the ball on the 3-metre line. However the award was soon withdrawn as he infringed FIVB rule 84.1c.
Rule 84.1c. Do not orgasm on court even if you do a great hit.

Casualties could have taken the 4th set, but too many serves in the net gifted the points to Vandals. Chas' steadying influence was always welcome, as was his running commentary of the action on court. The blind people in the crowd really appreciated it.

The deciding 5th set was a thriller. It was neck and neck all the way to 10-10, but then Vandals crept ahead to have match point. Tremendous play of which neither team realised

they were capable of saw the crowd on their feet, unable to control their excitement. Casualties saved the point with extreme recoveries that will go down in history. Finally Casualties had match point themselves and it was time for Vandals to make the amazing saves. Repeatedly Casualties fired over certain-winners, but Vandals repeatedly pulled rabbits from the hat when all seemed lost. After the last point had been going on for 2 days or so, Casualties finally won it with a big hit from Mick. Or was it Chas? Neil maybe? Nah, surely not! Anyway I can't remember as I was so too excited at the time. A classic.

As always, Casualties thank their sponsors.
